Cinctures

A cincture for one of our seminarians soon to be ordained a deacon. Solid brass Jerusalem cross bead, all white cord and tassel. 

Made for a brother priest. I always seem to run out of one necessary piece, whether it's the cord, bronze bushing, or the shackle. This shackle was too small for the project, but with a lot of filing of both the brass walls of the shackle and the bronze bushing, it turned out quite nice. Very clean fit without a lot of slop and a very high quality brass.
